Matt is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fourth Circuit, the Federal Circuit and the District of Columbia Circuit, the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia and Maryland, the United States Court of Federal Claims and the United States Tax Court. A Washington native, Matt was previously appointed as a Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the District of Columbia and as a member of the Metropolitan Police Department, serving for over fourteen years with numerous awards and service decorations, including an FBI Director's Commendation for Heroism, the CHAMPS award, the Sustained Performance Award and the MPD Medal of Achievement.

In addition to being a principal to this practice, Matt currently serves as Chief Technology Officer and General Counsel to Reflexion Capital Partners (Advisors) SPRL/BVBA, a private equity venture capital facilitator with offices in Brussels and London.

Matt holds a Juris Doctor from George Mason University's Center for Technology and the Law in Arlington, Virginia. He is also a graduate from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University with a degree in East Asian Studies. In addition, Matt has received extensive specialized training and certifications in criminal and financial investigations from the U.S. Secret Service, the FBI, the BATFE and the U.S. Attorney's Office. He is certified by the Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commission as an Expert Instructor in matters of law relating to law enforcement and corrections, and as a Police Firearms Instructor. Matt is also certified as a Firearms Instructor and a General Instructor by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Matt is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) and the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI).

Ed Mulrenin is a member of the Bar of the District of Columbia and has been admitted to practice before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Military Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court.

Former Assistant Staff Director at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, Ed also served as the Assistant Controller, Assistant Secretary, and the Assistant Director for Information Technology, as well as at the Oversight Board of the Resolution Trust Corporation. Prior to his tenure at the Fed, he served as Political Risk Insurance Officer for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation where he pioneered computer based political risk assessment modeling. Ed also served as an officer with the Naval Security Group for two years. During his career, he has twice successfully promoted or organized offices of inspectors general for his organizations.

In 1999, recruited by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, Ed was selected by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation as Secretary to the Committee on Banking Reform and Reconstruction.

Ed has a degree in Economics from Fordham University, an MBA from the Columbia Business School and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University's Law School. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.

Tomí has over twenty-five years experience in criminal and financial investigations. She is formerly the Commander of the United States Capitol Police Identification Section which included: the Finger Print and Background Investigations Unit, Crime Scene Search Unit, Photographic Services Unit and the Victim Witness Assistance Unit. Since retiring from USCP in 2002, Tomí has worked as an Enforcement Agent for the State of Maryland and has provided training and support to the Metropolitan Police Department for specialized investigations.

Tomí has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Almeda College. She is FBI Academy trained and certified as an Advanced Evidence Recovery (CSS) Technician and Instructor. She has received multi-disciplinary training and certifications in advanced investigation techniques from the FBI, DEA and several other government agencies. Tomí is also a certified (SARtech-III) Search and Rescue technician.
